Thanks to all who attended this Sunday's event, it was by all accounts a great success. It was an opportunity for all present to meet (for most of us, for the first time) and have a good time. We hope that you now have a better idea of "What is Kendo" and look forward to the next chance we have to demonstrate our discipline. A special Thank You goes to all who spent time preparing and demonstrating their own art:
- St-Augustine Dojo (Goju-ryu)
The success of this event proves we should repeat it on a regular basis. I strongly believe this is the best way to 1- create ties and friendships necessary for the future 2- promote our respective disciplines to the public and members of other martial arts. Tentatively, I suggest that we meet again, same time, same place in July, feel free to send your ideas and opinions on this matter.
